What To Expect

We’d love to have you join us on Sunday morning for our Celebration Service.  Here’s what you’ll find at Lakeview Christian Center:

• Friendly people. We’d love to meet you, so feel free to introduce yourself. Please let us know what we can do to care for you while you’re here.

• A relaxed atmosphere. You’ll notice some folks who like to dress up for church and others who don’t. Feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you, and you’ll fit right in.

• Passionate worship. Our meetings include traditional and contemporary music and preaching from the Bible.

First Time Here?

If you’re new to Lakeview Christian Center and plan to visit on a Sunday, here are some practical things you’ll want to know:

• The Sunday morning schedule is as follows: Corporate Prayer–8 am-8:40 am.  School of the Word classes–8:45 am to 9:30 am. Celebration Service–10 am.

• We have Visitor Parking spots in our Parking lot. Please feel free to make use of them.

• The “Welcome Center” (large counter in the center of the lobby) is staffed by helpful people who can answer your questions. If you require wheelchair access, designated parking or seating, directions to our restrooms, or additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

• Our Children’s Ministry provides care and instruction for ages 6 months to 11 years old. All other ages should remain in the service with their parents. For the safety of your children, we have implemented a check-in system that helps us keep track of the children that we are caring for on a Sunday morning. If it’s your first time visiting us, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes before the 10:00a service to check in your children with us. After checking in, we encourage parents to keep their children with them until after the worship portion of the service concludes, at which time the children will be dismissed to their classes. The Children’s Wing is located in the East Wing of the building down the hallway between the Elevator and Welcome Center.

• For prayer needs or pastoral questions, you can 1) fill out the Visitor Information Slip that you’ll receive in your bulletin at the Celebration Service, 2) email or call the church office (504.482.6221) or 3) make your way to the area in front of the stage and ask for a Pastor or Covenant Group leader after the meeting.
