Don’t forget that this weekend is a big weekend for our singles. We’ll be taking every opportunity we can grab to serve, equip, and envision our singles.
It will start tomorrow morning at 9am with Men and Women’s seminars respectively. For the main service on Saturday (beginning at 10), we’ll address the entire congregation, seeking to get a firmer grip on what it looks like for families and singles within the local church to walk together, serving and benefiting from each other. After that meeting, we’ll go out to a park, play some volleyball and other things and eat boiled crawfish. It’s still not over. Sunday’s meeting will not be the same message. It will pick up on another theme, seeking to a get biblical perspective on God’s sovereignty and how that interfaces with singleness.
I cannot wait til tomorrow and the weekend, and I hope all of you make each of these meetings. We trust that God is going to use these times together to stir good things into our life as a local body.
