The Pivot is a ministry geared for 18 year-olds to 30-somethings. We want to live, sing, study and relate in a way so that our vision of God is expanded and our passion to live for His glory reaches for expression. We want to proclaim and live the gospel so those who don’t know Jesus are drawn to Him. And we want to invest our lives and our gifts in the local church for our growth in discipleship and for the purpose of Christ’s mission in the earth.
The Pivot has two types of gatherings:
The Pivot Meeting
This meeting brings us together for corporate worship, preaching, ministry times and fellowship (with free pizza and drinks!), and it happens the third Sunday night of each month at the Lakeview Christian Center church building. The meeting kicks off around 7 pm.
The Pivot Small Groups
In addition to The Pivot meeting, we have small groups who meet for the purpose of encouraging each other, building meaningful relationships and discussing the messages we are hearing so we can apply God’s Word to our lives. Please contact us to express interest (504-482-6221), and we’ll let you know where and when the small groups are meeting.
The Pivot Activities
