The Prayer Force

Prayer is an absolutely indispensable part of our life as a church and has a role in supporting, sustaining, and enabling literally everything we do. No ministry can thrive without a posture of humble dependence upon God, and that kind of dependence is most clearly evidenced in the ministry of prayer. We have a vision to see every ministry and people-need in our local fellowship faithfully brought before God’s throne of grace through the ministry of intercession. Making sure that prayer does not get demoted in the functional life of the church can be a challenge. We seek to maintain and strengthen prayer ministry in these ways:

Corporate Prayer
Every Sunday morning at 8 am, we come together to ask God to reveal Himself to us as we meet for the Sunday Celebration. Corporate prayer occurs in Rm. 200.

Tuesday Morning Prayer
On Tuesday mornings at 6:30 am we meet to pray for the various ministries of the church and the advancement of the Kingdom of God in New Orleans. This takes place in the foyer of the church building.

LCC Prayer Blog
This blog is a useful tool for equipping the church in the ministry of prayer. It is a helpful means of publishing resources on prayer and is also a forum for receiving and sending prayer requests. If you have a prayer request you would like to submit, just use the Submit Prayer Requests function on the home page at www.lcccprayer.com. To receive these requests by e-mail, sign up in the form on the right-hand side of the site.
