Scott Croft hails from Capitol Hill Baptist Church, where Mark Dever serves as Sr. Pastor. This piece of stark realism will, I believe, be very helpful to many single men as it wisely cuts through the ubiquitous fog of evangelical mate-choosing.
If mature single men would buy into God’s prescription for finding a spouse and not let e-harmony pigeon-hole the process with exhaustive ‘compatibility’ ratings and the like, we would see an upspike in the establishing of young families for God’s glory. Such a prospect is very exciting.
